About the Captain

Captain Tony Jackson has been a life long resident of Lafayette County along the Suwannee River. He started fishing on the flats of Steinhatchee 20 years ago, when he wanted more of a challenge than the Suwannee he grew up on could give him. Tony obtained his captain's license several years ago to enjoy meeting and sharing his love of the Nature Coast of Florida with people from other areas.

Tony also owns and operates a dairy in Mayo which helps provide him the time to operate the charter service. He and Brenda, his wife of 18 years, have two girls, Toni, 15 and Taylor 13. The whole family is very active in operating the dairy and the charter service. The children have fished with him from the time they could hold up their own pole. They are now actively involved in the IFA Red Fish Tour with him. Recently at a tournament in Port St. Joe, FL, Tony's daughter Toni won the Jr. Angler Division and his team placed fifth.
